Restylane is a safe and effective filling
substance used for correction of facial lines and wrinkles.
Restylane is injected directly into the wrinkle with a tiny
needle. The same as with lip augmentation, local anesthesia
is usually not required unless the patient is very pain sensitive.
Following the procedure, the treated area may be somewhat
red that can be easily covered with cosmetics. The results
are not permanent but the effect can be fairly visible still
after two years. Often Restylane injections used in combination
with other methods of wrinkles correction, e.g., Ultra Pulse®
Laser skin resurfacing and Botox, give excellent and long-lasting
results.

Wrinkle Treatment with Botox
Botulinum toxin or Botox is used for
the treatment of frown lines, forehead furrows, and "crow's
feet". It works by reducing the activity of the muscles
and the patient can't frown or squint after the procedure
and the wrinkles in the treated area disappear. It is most
effective in treating horizontal forehead furrows, vertical
lines between the eyebrows and "crow's feet". Botox
is injected directly into the muscle with a tiny needle. It
takes a few days for the effect to be seen and it lasts up
to two years. The results are excellent and the expression
lines appear noticeably softer following the treatment.
